DeSocial Strategies, hosted by Jeffrey DeSocio, brings on guests to discuss how they use social media and business networking to build a social following and meet their business goals. For this episode of DeSocial Strategies, host Jeffrey DeSocio welcomed Jaclyn Zukerman, the host of Social Scene w/ JZ on the UR Business Network.
The Social Scene is a Video/Podcast promotes what people do and chat abouts entertainment locally and internationally. Jeffrey and Jaclyn discussed how social networking influences the social scene whether is it entertainment, sports or events.
Jaclyn has a background in television, event planning and merchandising and has a show called the “Social Scene with JZ.” A show based in Greater Boston that will help promote events, the restaurant and lounge scene as well as what is going on in Boston and beyond in the entertainment world. Jaclyn has had musicians, actors and even a former Bachelor from the Bachelorette on one of her recent shows.
Jeffrey provided some strategies for entertainers to get noticed, but using the right keywords posting on YouTube, which is still the most searchable social media platform there is. Users should also engage in conversation on the social platforms. Jeffrey and Jaclyn also discussed how social networking has changed the face of sports, where instead of calling into a radio show to voice your opinion, a person can engage in conversation on a social platform like Facebook or Twitter to voice their opinion. Jeffrey and Jaclyn also chatted about the social scene in Boston and brought up some of the venues that do a better job being social. The ones that distinguish themselves with great visual content are a step ahead in the world of social media.
Jackie and Jeff have become collaborating business partners and will be hosting an event at Howl at the Moon in Boston Jan. 26th! To RSVP click here
