The Social Scene takes on the Film Industry with Filmmaker Bobb Hopkins! Since 1975 Bobb has been producing, directing and writing films. (list of credits IMDB profile). Hopkins first film was 90 minutes that dumbfounded his teacher and classmates who were expected to deliver 10 minute efforts. In 1978 Bobb Founded Super Chief Films. He hasbeen producing movies, TV shows, documentaries, commercials, videos ever since. Currently Super Chief Filmas has a banking relationship that will allow them to produce movies through 2016!

Hopkins was born in Lynn but grew up attending Swampscott Highschool. After highschool he attended University of New Hampshire. There, He was an All-Conference Quarterback and Team Captain. Right out of college he graduated with a degree in Mathematics but ended up playing in the NFL briefly for the Chicago Bears and the NY Jets. After school Hopkins moved to San Francisco to work as an Accountant. Around twenty-three twenty-four years old his neighbor who was a model approached him regarding some acting work. Hopkins stated she approached him during her current job at the time. Her producer was looking for a guy like him for a german cigarette commercial.

Although Bobb was skeptical his neighbor won him over after a quick contemplation..traveling the world, meetings lots of hot girls..."What time is the audition?!"

In 1987 Bobb founded the National Hobo Association to benefit needy hoboes and preserve the history of the American icon. Among the members included former hoboes Merle Haggard, Ernest Borgnine, James A. Michener, Roger Miller, and notorious attorney Melvin Belli (represented Sirhan Sirhan, Errol Flynn, Muhammad Ali, The Stones, etc.).

Bobb has produced/directed/written four movies, Rail Kings, 3 Below, The 13th Alley, Taken Alive, TV shows, and many documentaries. He has also starred in TV series, movies, and commercials. He is also currently working on 6 new films Breaking 80, Pinky's Palace, The Magical Art Twins, Down in Jamaica, Train Story and China Shop. His first production should be starting the summer of 2015.
