What really goes on in the Bachelorette house? We talk about this and more when Dylan Petitt came unto the Social Scene with JZ to discuss his background, his experiences on the Bachelorette Season 10 and now as a Consultant at BNG Consulting. Dylan was born in Longmeadow, MA. Petitt went to school at UMass Amherst to study business and accounting. In 2011 he graduated with a degree in sports management. Prior the Bachelorette Season 10, Petitt he started working at different accounting firms such as Ernst and Young and Walter and Shuffain. While at Walter and Shuffain he was asked to work on the Bachelorette Season 10. He took a leave of absence for 5 and a half weeks and made it to Andi Dorfman's Top 6 Bachelors! After his gig at the show was over he was asked to be on Bachelor in Paradise. After two weeks of the new show, Dylan realized reality television was not what he wanted to pursue.
"All you have in alcohol food and the other guys to talk with. There are 25 guys and all you are able to do is talk about your feelings. There are no phones, internet or television!!"
Petitt currently resides in East Boston. He decided to take on consulting at BNG because he is very much a people person and enjoys helping finding people for fields of work he has a lot of experience in. He currently hires mainly for Accounting and Finance Jobs. He is newer to the consulting field of accounting but enjoys meeting new people and connecting them to the right place at the right time. We talk about interviewing skills, how to be yourself and what qualifications certain jobs look for.
